OUR IMPACT
Reliable Transportation keeps life moving.
A working vehicle connects people to employment, education, medical care, family responsibilities, church, and community. When a car breaks down, a household already under financial pressure can quickly lose far more than transportation
The Transportation Problem
For many of our neighbors, there is no simple backup plan. Public transportation may not reach where they live or may not match their work, school, or medical schedules. A repair that is manageable for one household may be financially impossible for another. Good Samaritan Auto Care exists to close part of that gap by providing deeply discounted maintenance and repair for people in financial distress.

A STORY BEHIND THE STATISTICS
One Repaired Car can protect a child's education.
A single mother's children stayed home from school while her car was down, because the school bus didn't serve where she lived. Repairing her vehicle helped put the family back on the road to economic stability and kept her children connected to their education.
Another neighbor, Ms. C, was living in her car when she first came to GSAC. She had just started a job and needed the vehicle to get to work. GSAC went above and beyond its normal services to get her back on the road, and she eventually got a great apartment.
